this bike is older than me

Post by barnett1974 » Fri Jan 07, 2011 9:34 pm

hello group, My name is Mike Barnett. My father had a 66 CL77 in High School in 66' and "repurchased" one about 8 years ago cause he "just had to have another one". He restored the bike quite well and had it running good and looking sharp. He passed away very suddenly in September (RIP MPB Semper Fi!) and it is my goal to get the bike back in running order and keep it and ride it forever as a memory of my old man. I am, 36 years old and have owned one bike im my lifetime (1997 Honda 750 Nighthawk). I am a carpenter and not a mechanic by any means. so this will be challenging for me. i will be very greatfull for any and all info given to me in the next few months by the boardmembers. i will post numbers/pics soon. Cheers Gentleman![/img]

Thank you for the pics and your location.
May we have the frame/engine numbers?
What I see is a Late Issue 1967 bike and the numbers will give the answer. ............lm
