Capacitor to eliminate battery? I Need Help!

Post by onemangang » Sat Jan 08, 2011 1:47 pm

I have been searching the forum to find out what size capacitor to use to replace the battery, and I have found the answer is unclear. I have a 67-ish Cl77 and I am looking to eliminate the battery with a capacitor. I have seen some being used as large as 47000uf 20vdc and I have read on this form that you should use one no bigger than 15000uf with a voltage atleast 25vdc and as high as 40vdc. I am looking to hear a successfull and continuing use of capacitors to replace the battery. Any info would be helpfull...! Thanks!
