Different types of shift lever/pedals

Post by jwest » Wed Oct 11, 2006 10:28 am

My 64 CA77 Dream has a shift lever with only a toe piece. I have noticed a number of Dreams with a combination lever - a toe piece in the front and pedal towards the rear. Which is correct? Or was the lever changed by Honda at some point in time? I have seen both for sale on Ebay. Thanks.

All the Dreams I have seen at shows or scrap bikes I bought had the heel/toe shifter.Friend of mine still has his fathers original 64' Dream with heel/toe shifter.
