1968 HONDA cb 77 superhawk OEM exhaust !!!

Post by rrtccp » Mon Oct 25, 2010 7:00 pm

Just a quick hypothetical question ,,, if i had 1968 original honda pipes for a superhawk still in the honda wrappers and absolutely perfect ( never installed ),, what should i ask for them.... i may be buying a very decent 68 superhawk and it will come with these pipes , it has reasonable pipes on it , so i thought i might offset the purchase price of the bike by selling the new oem pipes... any thoughts.... nick

Nick, I'd estimate from 700-1,000, maybe more, maybe less. They are indeed a rare item.

We need to keep in mind that HONDA issued several designs over the years and to me some will be worth more than others. ...lm

Nick

Replicas sell for $700 or so and originals sell for £500-750 in England. David Silver in the UK recently bought up a load of stock from someone in the USA and was selling late model CB72/77 systems for £230 each side plus tax and postage..
