Yes,I made sure to use the gaskets with the 2 holes at the top.LOUD MOUSE wrote:Ya did install the 2 gaskets and metal plate at the top?. ............lm

Any suggestions?
Along with the air coming through the vent hose is a lot of oil. It seems to be ok when riding
on the level. The problem comes when going up a mile and a half long hill. After going up the hill I got about an ounce or so of oil dripped from the vent hose. There is also oil dripping from the left side header pipe where it connects to the head.
The bike has plenty of power, starts instantly and sounds great.
This thing is driving me nutz!

The oil is at the top notch of the dipstick.

The oil around the header would make me think about proper torque of the 14mm cap nuts on top of the head and 10mm nuts by the spark plugs, possible head gasket issues, a crack in the head or deformation of the mating surface between the head and cylinders.
I saw you mention the head gasket several times, did you change out the two o-ring seals that go around the the oil passage dowels between the head and cylinders?
