Vintage chopper...Tell me what you think

Post by xragex3191 » Wed Sep 22, 2010 9:40 pm

I just recieved this 1964 honda scrambler chopper. It is in beautiful shape and dont really know what to do with it. As far as i know it has been in a basement for 30+ years. I dont know if i wanna restore it to what i want, restore it to what it is now, or just sell it to somebody that would be interested in it. It is a really interesting bike so im atleast gonna get it running for now. Tell me what you think. Also the bike is located in Pa if your interested in it. I might consider selling it. Thanks

Im not much of a chopper fan myself. I just got this in a trade and realized how good of shape it was in when i started wiping it off. Im hoping to atleast get it running and ride it a couple time just to get to experience riding it.

Looks like it would be absolutely scary to ride that thing... but there are some nice parts on it...

I got the chopper running tonight. These bikes have a really cool tone to them, its loud but yet still has a racey sound to it. This is my first experience with the 305 and im very impressed so far. I cant wait to get to ride it, hopefully i can move it around tomarrow.

front end is "interesting". I like the bike.

On another topic altogether, why do you have my parents old couch in your garage?

I seriously questioned their sanity on the fabric pattern.

hehehehheehe

Old Skool Chopper formula:

1. 1 set of screw on fork extensions
2. Saw off the pipes (shorty mufflers optional)
3. 1 skinny seat
4. 1 set of banana bars from a bicycle (or Z bars if you have extra cash)
5. Saw off the fenders

You gotta chopper!
