Post by forrestlanding » Wed Jul 19, 2006 3:47 am

Recently the new owner of a ca77 and after a few years of sitting in storage the petcock has begun to leak. Need advice on how to remove petcock and best place to purchase rebuild kit. Thanks to anyone who can help.

There are rebuild kits on ebay. Not original but work fine if you lube them first.Ohio cycle may have NOS repair parts also.To remove petcock drain your tank and remove bowl/lines etc. and screen. Then remove three phillips screws holding it to tank.

When it comes time to rebuild your petcock try this link:

They have a real nice aftermarket kit for $15.00. I have bought a couple of kits from them and I really can't see any difference from the NOS parts that I have.
