Honda CB77 speedometer gear drive

Post by michel49 » Mon Aug 16, 2010 9:30 pm

I have an early CB77 speedo/tach unit (contra rotating needles).I want to use it on my late CB77,but,of course, the late CB77 speedo gearbox does not work, as it turns the speedo needle in the wrong direction. What is the difference with the early CB77 speedo gearbox ? They look the same on pictures.I know the part numbers are different for the two, but I cannot find any speedo gearbox for the early spedo.Any advice ?

The only difference is the direction in which they spin. Post on the parts wanted section, someone should have the part you need.
