The very first frame has a Smashed Tube with a slot in it.
The later (not much though) has a cast part brazed to the tube. ................lm

How is your speedo mounted, with screws or with a spring ? (spring in the lamp housing)

YA it's a 62 and later frame and will take the regular seat frame not the early short one. ..............lm
