Gee Wiff, I think you found one that may not be servicable :) Wow, it looks good from the outside, I wonder how it got so messed up inside?

Yup, it's a bit of a mystery. I've given the screws some WD 40 and if I can separate the horn from the solenoid, it may be possible to re-build--just to see if it can be done!

A blast-off with one of those cheapo domestic steam-cleaners from a hypermarket should clean it up inside, then drown it in WD40 and shake it out.

Looks like the cover or cable-entry leaked.
