CP77 air filters, headlight assembly

Post by Terry McKitrick » Wed May 24, 2006 9:50 pm

I am currently rebuilding a 1966 CP77. I have found most of the parts I need on Ebay, but am stuck for some:

Air Filters: NOS $100.00 per set + shipping from China. There has just got to be something more reasonable, or adaptable from some other filter.

Headlight bucket, speedo/tach. I can find the speedo/tach and headlight, but no bucket. Anybody have a spare unit? I can trade for a CA77 bucket I orderd accidently.

I don't think the headlight bucket and air filters are any different from a CB77's. I see headlight buckets on E-Bay regularly. As far as the air cleaners go, you can still get them from American Honda at $37.48 a piece, I know because I just checked their inventory. Can't speak for Canadian Honda, though. Check with your local dealer.

Good to know that Honda now has the right side because they haven't had any for years and my parts book shows (D). How many did Honda show?.What about the left side? ..................lm

Oh yeah, the other side. Shows how quick this brain is working on these late nighters. Honda's down for the holiday weekend, but I should have an answer some time Tuesday.
