Oil filter O Ring

Post by Chris Jensen » Fri Jun 11, 2010 10:04 pm

I took my oil filter apart to clean it and the O ring is broken . Where can you find a replacement and will it cause an oil pressure drop or damage to run the engine with out it? thanks Chris

Chris, try a hydraulic repair / supply shop. The have o-rings up the wazoo, and can possibly find one to fit.

Thank You for the help. I found one at a lawn mower repair shop. It's a carb bowl gasket .
