Keyster kits?

Post by drycounty » Mon May 15, 2006 10:56 am

What is the overall consensus on these kits? Are they reliable? Anyone have any other recommendations for rebuild kits?

Thanks in advance,

Erik

I put one in my CA77 last year, but the jets were all different sizes than the original.Seems to run ok except I was having some intermittent trouble at full throttle, engine would start to miss like starving for gas.Not 100% sure what may be causing that?

I guess I should go ahead and get them. If anything I might reuse some of the original carb parts, but I know of no other company who makes them at the moment.

That is what I did. There were a few different sizes of jets in the Keyster kit that were different from the original ones in my carb. So I used the parts in the Keyster kit that matched my original ones, and then reused the original ones that didn't match the parts in the Keyster kit. I just made sure that I cleaned the original parts really well.
