Rectifier question

Post by WD46 » Thu May 11, 2006 5:47 am

Hello fellow " dreamers"

i am not into electronics and stuff like that.
I wonder how i can check (without difficult looking aperatus) if the thing is still working?
Its the 3 wire connection 12Volts orange plates rectifier.
Can it be replaced for something modern?

Greetings from the netherlands.
René

Yes they can be replaced by a modern rectifier for a few dollars from a Radio Shack store if you have one there or any other electronics store. There has been someone on Ebay in the past selling these also, but they want close to $20.00 for them.I think it takes alot to hurt them.
