Need Part Number for Crankshaft 20mm Socket
As far as i know there is no torque for that (atleast not in any of our 3 manuals we have). We did the ol dull screwdriver and hammer deal. Later my buddy made a wrench that slides right on to it. Honestly don't see why you would have to torque it, it has that washer tab on it that keeps it from slipping at all.
Re: Need Part Number for Crankshaft 20mm SocketI have attached several pics of the tools I use and how I use them.
The steel chisels can be used at the crank nut also. ...........lm
The J.H. Williams Tool Group offers a high-quality 3/4 - 2" adjustable hook spanner wrench (their number 471) that I use for the crank nut and the camshaft drive nut. No, you can't torque to "exact specs" using it, but it will provide a good alternative to the dull chisels, gripping the nuts securely, without marring the parts being loosened and tightened.
