Hi all,
Does anyone has a period correct 1961 CB72 single leading brake shoe brake panel lying around ?
I'm interested in buying, but also in having a good set of pictures from it, I can't find any on the www,

Is that different from my 1962? If they are the same, I can take pics for you and may, eventually, have a spare.

Hi Graham,
As long your CB from 1962 has a single leading shoe brake plate mounted, yes, but that would be very rare, and not period correct for your bike.

Sorry - I misread your post. My mind was on C72s.

Hi Ed,
I always try to eat the elephant bit by bit, can I start eating ?
Interest in how such a part looks like and document it is more important to me then acquiring one.
Like I said, I never saw any close-up picture from this part, so I like to see one in real life or on pictures, preferably complete with brake shoes. Curiosity is my drive, and if I can find one, I would not mind to own it either,

Well that part is very rare and the shoes are more so.
I've sold 3 of them and only one set of shoes cause they are more difficult to find.
What will ya do with one?. .........lm
