CA77 Motor That Needs To Be A CB77 Motor

Post by bill440cars » Thu Apr 20, 2006 8:35 am

My problem: The CA77 motor had transplanted into a CB77 when I
got it. I need to eventually replace the CA motor with a CB or convert
the CA to a CB. Since the restoration would be quite costly, I'm not
going that route. I know the crankshaft and head along with carbs and
ignition would have to be swapped. Is there anything I'm missing? I'm
on a budget so, I've got to watch my $$. If there is someone out there
who might want to deal for tha CA motor, we can talk. It would be nice
to trade it for a CB motor. I don't have a problem with changing it over
to a CB motor though. I've got some ideas of my own and some ideas
from others that I want to try but, I don't want to disclose them right
now. I hope to end up with an appealing yet, powerful (for it's size)
SUPER Hawk!

Forgot to say that I'm new here, Ihope to learn from you guys and
help out whenever I can.

Later on, Bill
