Looking for the carb covers for my 68 CA77.
If you have one or know of any place other than ebay that has one... Please let me know!

Thanks!

Me too- for my '63. Wow are they elusive- what happened to all of them? I'm kinda surprised nobody's decided to start doing some repro castings; they sell for a premium on eBay.

If you are not in a hurry, do a watch for them on e-bay. They do appear every so often for a reasonable price.

I'm in no hurry, but I've been watching for 3 months now and they seem to be pretty rare. I've seen single sides go for over $60 in pretty ratty condition. I know I sound cheap, but as the parts aren't integral and strictly cosmetic it's hard to justify paying over $150 ( assuming shipping charges) for the pair. I keep hoping I'll come across someone parting out a bike that doesn't have a clue or even care, but in the internet age those people are all but extinct.
Anyhow, I'm sure I'll break down and shell out for them sooner or later; they really complete the lines of the bike.

My question is where did they all go? I can find just about any other stock part on eBay at any given time. Did people dump their carb covers for some reason?

They seem to have been thrown away along with the battery hold downs.
Those are pretty hard to come by also. When they do come up on ebay they go for around a $100.

For sure..... there are a few on there right now between 99 and 199 bucks. and I suppose I'm not trying to spend that much. <--- cheapskate alert! I'll probably break down and buy one for mega cash then soon as it shows up one will magically appear for like 13.95. Just my luck. ha.
Left side or Right side singles just aren't what I'm looking for. I don't mind if they show age.... however I'd like them to "show age" evenly.

I was hoping someone on here might be parting one out or something, and maybe someone will be eventually. I'd like to have it by spring time.... so not a super rush.

I've got an extra for a CA95...... but my CA95 doesn't need one. And obviously it doesn't fit the 305.

eww, now that I am rereading this.... it's very jumbled and makes no sence. Sorry.
