Good stuff. Hope you are using 1964 tyres too as the modern rubber may overstress the wheel rims and spokes. I have some 1964 air if you need it and some leaded gas.......... :-)

I got fired from the filling station.

Why?

Boss caught me out back pumping Ethyl.

So, what was wrong with that?

Ethyl is the boss's daughter.

Even Honda does NOT recommend running 30wt non detergent lawn mower oil in your bike.

Doesnt aircraft fuel still contain lead anti-knock compounds??? about 110 octane IIRC.

HELP STOP GLOBAL WHINNING!!!!!!

Two bees decided to fly cross country together on a trip down south.

They flew for two days when one of the bees turned to the other and said,"I'm low on fuel, How bout we drop down to that filling station for some go juice."

They dropped down and the first bee stopped in front of the regular pump. The second bee said"WHOA BUDDY!! That will will not do! I'm not a regular bee, I am a ESSO bee!!!

(translation for the younger folks.. Enron used to be Enco, who used to be ESSO who sold their premium fuel as ESSO) Esso was later found out to be "A$$hole" in slang Japanese from wwII occupation forces, so the trade name was changed when Enco went world wide in the '60s. This was about the same time in the early 60's and late 50's that DARPA did all the research on improved motor oils for the cold artic as we were convinced that the russkies were gonna invade through the Alaskian shelf. New motor oils were invented for sub zero performance. Multiweights came to light, and later synthetics appears first for aircraft operation in Alaska, and later for conventional engine use. These oils appeared just after the casting for dream came to market. The original castings reflected only the oil that was availible in the late 50's.. Owners manuals reflected the multiweight oils and hd oils that begin to appear in the early 60's.. Nasa also pushed the sythetic oils for space used of extreame temperatures as well. The cold war and race to the moon created the differential of so called "middle oils" in america that the europeans/asians did not have.

Do I have to explain why they dont reflect oils that were developed/improved after they were printed????????????????

Hey !

We still have Esso in the UK! I thought that it stood for Standard Oil (those nice guys who got broken up for naughty business tactics) SO = EssO

Put a tiger in your tank - as they used to tell us......
