THAT is a pukka CB250K0! And that was about to be my shout too, Jensen, when I read further and saw that you'd beaten me to it! The (UK) K0 had a painted tank and twin clocks (speedo / tacho). The K0 was the '68-'69 precursor and platform for the 'new' series of Honda powertrains. The metallic grey is the same colour as the 1st ('68-'69) CD175s were finished in.

The mufflers are of proper CB250K0/K1 and 350K1 design. And it howls like a banshee when it's given a fistful -- lots of lovely induction / exhaust harmonies.

BUY IT; it is a very rare beast indeed!

Hi,

In the parts manual of the CB250 350, are the special parts for this strange Japanese version displayed. In japan it has the name dream 250, there wasn't other than the two tone version a 350 version of this version.

I bought it. And the engine sounds exactly like that.
Any explanation for the handlebars?

An old school pal, in 1970, was given a Honda brochure by John Oldfield of Southampton (England); he remarked how lovely he thought another mate's CB77 looked -- oddly enough, the very CB77 that I ended up with 6 months later -- and how much he loved the look of the CB250K0 in the brochure. John inquired and was told by Honda (GB) that "the style of model with the chrome tank panels was definitely NOT going to be imported into Britain". He was gutted, but bought the UK model anyway; Candy Orange & white.

He sold it 3 months later and bought a new Kwakker H1R! Now, that was a manic machine!
