New ride cb450 k1

Post by Johnr » Mon Oct 19, 2009 1:10 am

Bike is listed titled as a 1970 but is either 68 or 69 probably an 1969.
Looks to be mostly here and is running drove it home about 20 miles from previous owner.
Had to buy it to save it from becoming a kids cafe racer.
I know the exhaust and mirrors are not stock but don't know what else is not stock, also missing chain guard.
Any help would be appreciated as I don't know much about this bike as I currently have three 305 dreams and know a fair bit about these.
I don't know if I will keep it or sell it just couldn't see it being turned into a cafe bike.
Also don't know if this is a European or american model how do I tell.

Nice acquisition, and well-rescued! Initially, I'd think it to be a US model, with that taillight. I have a mag-pic showing a UK model, which I'll post as soon as I find it and scan.

John, excellent score. If you're going to sell it, let me know. D
