Rims and spoke were about $600, I laced them myself. I found the CYB clamp on ebay. I have a friend that's taking a casting class, and may try to have some made up. Bars are 32mm, but you'll need to measure your forks, as ther are a few different size tubes. here are some updated pics of bike. It's a work in progress, but I do get her out for a ride every so often!

Dave - question for you: I noticed that the rod on your steering damper extends beyond the rubber boot and onto the triple tree. If you look at the one I recently installed, the rubber boot slided up and down along with the rod. Is yours a CYB damper? Mine is for a CL, so don't know if the setup is different? Just curious.....thanks!

Vince, same damper, I don't have it hooked over the top yet.

Great shots of your bike, davomoto. I am looking to build a CB77 Cafe myself and am looking for ANY inspirational shots I can find. And yours suire helps, cause I am leaning towards that look myself. I like the way you have kept things to a bare minimum and the gas tank panel treatment. So hard to find decent chrome ones anyway, without paying through the nose. The Red and Black looks great. I was thinking about a red with the panels in a sort of cream color. Now, I haven't locked that color scheme in yet, so I'm open to suggestion.

Take care, Bill
