Does anyone know what the chrome thing with the elongated hole on top of my 66 CL-77's left fork leg is for? I've seen it on other CL's but I haven't seen anything on it or attached to it.

ITS A HELMET LOCK DEVICE. YOU SLIP THE HELMET D-RING OVER IT AND PUT A SMALL LOCK (NOT INCLUDED) THROUGH THE SLOT AND WAH-LA 1960's HELMEY SECURITY AT ITS BEST.

my 67 is missing the helmet lock ring. does anyone know where I can get one?
