using pipe as mufflers

Post by greenamp » Sat Aug 15, 2009 10:03 am

Dose anyone know if you just can run pipe from your headers instead of mufflers? I know it would be loud, but I wasn't sure if you would have to re jet your carb or not. Any feedback?

These always sounded sweet, with or without mutes in the ends: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 768wt_1330 and no re-jetting needed, apparently.

Hey, Thanks. If they could do it so could I. It's not the right model but I'm sure I could attach something to my headers that will work. Any more feedback?
