rocker pin removal

Post by jesmed » Fri Oct 07, 2005 2:13 pm

OK, far too many questions from me for one day. Last one. I promise. How do I get the valve rocker arm pins out of the cylinder head? Bill Silver says &quot;using rocker pin removal tool (or similar 6mm bolt)...&quot; Ummm, a little more detail, please! (1) where can I find such tool? (2) part no.? (3) if I could find a &quot;similar 6mm bolt,&quot; what exactly would I do with it (yes, screw it into the rocker pin, but then what??) Thanks!<br />Jesmed

I use a long thin punch and from the inside I tap them out of the side then I use a screwdriver BLADE in the slot of the pin and flip it out. ..............LM
