PETCOCK REPAIR KITS
PETCOCK REPAIR KITSANYONE USE THE REPAIR KITS FROM RETROBIKES? WHAT RESULTS ARE YOU HAVING? I HAVE INSTALLED ONE BUT IT IS EXTREMELY HARD TO TURN WITH THE ALL RUBBER DESIGN, BUT IT DOES NOT LEAK.
Re: PETCOCK REPAIR KITSi don't know if mine is stock or not, but it's not easy to move the lever either.

Re: PETCOCK REPAIR KITSSince the petcock is so hard to turn I decided to put a lawnmower shutoff between the petcock and carb and I just left the petcock on reserve for now. This makes it much easier to shut gas supply off and run carb down and saves wear on the new petcock kit I put in.
Re: PETCOCK REPAIR KITSKool idea.
Bob
Re: PETCOCK REPAIR KITSI bought mine from Ohio Cycle. I installed it about 1 month ago and it still works great. I did put a little lithium grease on the rubber pieces. Not hard to turn.

I've heard if there is alcohol in the gas, the rubber will swell.

Tom
