1963 CL72 Engine

Post by TulsaOK » Mon Sep 26, 2005 7:23 am

I live in Tulsa Oklahoma and I bought 1963 CL72. I would like to have this engine rebuilt.

Try Ed Moore. He has been rebuilding old honda engines for years and most everyone on these web sites heard of him. I think he lives in Texas.(emo@ktc.com)

Hay Tulsa if you head down towards Texas, come down I 44 I have a CL72 motor I’ll give you. It’s in very poor shape but there may be some usable parts in it. I picked it up to keep it from going to the scrap metal guys.

Rob in Wichita Falls

Rob,

Thanks, I may take you up on that. I do need some misc engine parts. My engine is about 97% complete but I do need a few misc items.
Tulsa,
I’m sure it’s a CL and I an 97% sure it’s a 72 as to the year or anything else I have no idea The head is there, the clutch and oil filter are missing I think the right side is intact but I can’t swear to it. Next time I make a run to the warehouse if you want I’ll check it out. It may be this weekend before I can get out there. I hate to see parts that could be put to good use just sit and I’m sure I won’t need them.
