How About Some CL72 Specifics?

Remember the picture I sent you years ago of the red CL's on the loading dock with the shipping plastic still on the seat? The centerstands were black on those bikes. You're comment was "which country were they sent to?" I don't have the answer to that and I will agree that all of the originals I've ever seen were red but there were bikes built evidently with red frames and black stands.
BTW the bike in the picture is mine, it was the first CL I owned out of 50 or so to date. I still have it. It is not a CL72 but a '65 CL77. There are many incorrect items on that bike most noticeably the aluminum fenders. It was built the way I wanted it to look at the time. I have since collected all the parts to put that bike to as built condtion.
