Pilot light assy.
Pilot light assy.Anyone have an idea what the piece that the pilot light fits into is called and where I can find it?? (The little light just forward of the speedometer) I seems to have the whole assembly except the part that attaches the light bulb to the bike. I looked it up on Dillon Brothers but it doesn't have a part number. It just counts all the pieces of the assy as one part (Honda Code 0044883)...
Thanks for your help once again, Joel pilot lightDo you mean the rubber boot that holds the light bulb? If so,that was covered not too long ago on another post.I think some people are using spark plug boots from a small engines.

Even if you do find one that is seamingly shot, grab it anyway. Mine was literaly about to crumble. I used Marine Tex Flex Set. Amazing stuff--an epoxy that dries flexible.(available at West Marine) I coated the outside(and in the cracks) of that thingy with the flex set and it works great. Doesnt exactly look good (its white) but heck, you never see that thingy anyway. Im thinking it would also be good for repairing the rubber tube that goes from the carb to the filter, and other hard to find rubber parts that dont show.
