I am rebuilding a couple of Scramblers a 66 and a 67. I have begun to put pics on the website if anybody cares to see the progress.

This isn't spam. I don't sell anything. I just post the pics of my bikes and rebuilds to share with others.

The information and help from the folks on this site is very much appreciated.

Great work. Best job of aluminum polishing I have ever seen. What are the pipe extensions on the grey CL. They look sharp.

Yes, they are in the pic. This stuff is just put together loose to keep from losing parts right now. Pretty sure they will only go on one way.

I'm just kinda picking one part at a time and finishing it off and then boxing it up and so on. I might not get to really putting the thing together for a year? Who knows.

The PO was a machinist, so he made some sleeved to put on the bike to cover some ugly spots. I have since cut them a bit and put internal baffles(repro stock ones) in and still kept the covers.

The baffles sound pretty nice. It richened up the jetting a bit.

Where did you find the repro exhaust baffles? I need some for my CL72. Thanks,

A guy had a couple of sets. They are actually pretty well built and fit right in. I'd buy a second set in a heartbeat.
