Do they make electronic ignition for this model.......Also I need a rectifier for this model...

Not at present on the electronic ignition for the CA.

Rectifier replacement options: Spend $3.29 on a modern bridge rectifier Radio Shack (part #276-1185.) Easy and inexpensive hook-up. Brown wire to one AC terminal, Yellow to other AC terminal, pink to DC+ and DC- to ground. Or go to http://www.olypen.com/retro/ and get the replacement that is virtually identical to the original. (part #31700-259-030)

I use it on both of my 305's and it works well for me. G

Thanks for the tip on the rectifier....I don't see any reason not to go with the Radio Shack version

I don't know whats going on with this bike but the wires are different color code than what is in my manual.....I bought the manual for the CA77 but the wires on the rectifier are red yellow and purple
I purchased the rectifier from Radio Shack and see the AC and DC terminals but not sure on the colors of which? Is there a wiring digram that matches this 61

I found the problem with the wire colors...they had a sleeve on them different colors

Thanks for the schematic.......I got it hooked up and now having a little prob with the ignition switch...some of the brass slides inside the lock were missing...ideas new switch new brass slides?
