Jeff, Snuff-or-nots,,,,,,,,,well they are just a whole lot of fun!! I had them on my '65 cb77 in 1967 and well they were OK for a teenager at that time,know what I mean? But really they are just a flat washer with a hole in the middle attached to a knob thing that is spring loaded. The washer thing goes inside the pipe near the opening and the knob twisty device sticks out of the pipe at the side. The idea is to open the snuffer for maximum noise and performance or close it for riding in your own neighborhood. Couldn't have been good for the tuning these require but,well like I said,,,,teenager. Steve Greer P.S. I would love to hear others snuff-or-not stories,how about it???
