CB77 kickstand

Post by Mike Mullins » Tue Dec 30, 2008 10:45 pm

Getting serious on #3. Cleaned frame, swingarm, centerstand and sidestand. My question is on the sidestand. (Sorry, don t have a pic at this time) I understand this was an extra- not a standard item. Were they marked in any way ? Mine is a nice cast piece, but is not marked in any way.

ONce again, thank you LM. Thought it might be since the original owner popped for the Honda hand-hold on the right side frame tube also.

That lift part wasn't standard at first production but I think that at sometime it was made a standard part. .............lm

Lift handle

I'd be very interested in a close up shot of the lift handle, and a possible source to get one. I'm also considering making one, but would like to copy the original. Thanks all. Brent

I found the words "made in Japan F.S.K." On the bracket of a kickstand i just got. I'd post a picture but I've already primed it and the wording got covered up again.
Any idea if F.S.K. was a Honda supplier???
