It is the after market issue for sure.
If you use it and sit on the seat and put pressure on it chances are it can/will fold the mounting bracket. ..........lm

Here it is.

As I stated earlier, it is from a late, chrome fender, Super Hawk. No idea if the side stand was original to that model.

TIA for any information.

Thanks for the ID and comments, Ed.

I did find another side stand. I think it to be identical to the one on E-Bay.

It had been broken and welded at the mounting bracket. Also, the shaft that holds the rubber bumper had been reduced in length by a hacksaw. Would not make a good paper weight.

I don't like them, and don't trust them. Just a personal thing.

All the best,
Bill Wylde

The seller had set an optimistic starting bid and a delusional BiN, in my view; endorsed by the fact that there were NOOOOO bids!

thought it would be best to continue an existing thread rather than start a new one, so...

which of these is a genuine oem side stand?

the diagram in the honda parts catalog doesnt show the side stand having a rounded end (#2 and #3). also, the diagram doesnt show the stand having a bend near the end (#1 and #3).
