not me, but the bike
it is an american import to the netherlands

This is how the bike was when I bought it

it was in a very sorry state
it came with chrome fenders and a oval taillight, the import papers showed that the date when it was licensed in the year of 1969, that is probably the reason why it had chrome fenders and the oval taillight to make it sell better.
The wire loom showed a decal with 1967, I presume that the bike was build in 1967.

I have added blinkers, the front blinkers are mounted on 90154-268-670 BOLT, RIGHT CASE I presume these where designed for the cb regarding the 268 suffix.
The wire loom was equipped with the necessary extra wiring orange, light blue and light gray.
The handle bar switch cam from a dream.

The rear stay came with the blinker and fit the lugs on the rear end of the frame ( sorry no part number) I bought these from ebay from a bloke in Thailand.

I am very pleased with the result; the title is on its way so I can experience how it is to ride a superhawk, with a bit of luck it will be before the winter sets in.

I must say that the book from Mr. Silver and questions asked and answered here where a great help

Fred, that is one beautiful job you've done there! Absloutely lovely!!

A true '67 (believe the harness date-tag). They were produced in Japan, albeit whilst undergoing various metamorphoses, '61-'67; anything registered (titled) '68 or later was a 'dealer leftover', apparently. The mix of the lip-up seat, alu fork legs, chrome fenders & oval taillight make it a 'true'.

I'm interested to know how you made a Dream (C/CA) throttle grip/trafficator switch fit; I bought one on eBay only to find that there's no throttle cable exit in the lower shell-half. The model that that was from had the cable pulled laterally, not tangentially, using a slide within the handlebar.

I eventually found another, NOS from Japan, for a CP-model.

How have you mounted your rears? I made some 3mm alu plates, but they've both split from the vibration. A close-up pic of yours would be great.

EDIT: Ah, I see now. I've just studied your 'before' pics. It looks like you have a CP frame...? It has brackets attached, aft of the rear shocks' upper mounts.
