I bought a pair of the Coker Firestone 3.25x16 wide whites.Very flimsy and cheaply made.Had to send one back because it had a bad wobble. They also handled terribly especially at low speeds. They sure look nice though.I would recommend them for a non rider show bike.

You are good to go with 3.50-16. I have 2.75-18 bridgestone on front and 3.50-18 Inoue on rear. (not a typing mistake) I will send pic's of fresh resto. of my CA78 to prove it shortly in restoration section of forum.

Try this for a bracket to hold the springs

On my CA77 I used the seat bracket that supported the long seat at the back. I flipped upside down and drilled to holes that line up with the original holes in the top of the frame under the seat. With the bracket upside down this lowewed the spring support to lower the profile of the solo seat. The mounting holes on each end of the bracket are the perfect distance for the springs on the bottom of the seat. It looks good and is functional. I'll try to take some pics of how I did it to show the look.

Just a FYI for anyone trying to order the King tires bigscooter mentioned earlier in this thread. I ordered some a week ago from motorcycle-superstore.com and found out today they're no long going to carry these tires.

Anyone have a source for 3.25 or 3.50 x 16's?

thanks

Erich
