should a 65 cl77 have the slotted chainguard or the solid? thanks for the help

A true 1965 CL77 with the small brakes had a slotted guard but it didn't have the 2 vents at the rear top. ...............lm

And for a late 65/66 CL77 with large brakes? Is this all in the Silver books, too?

No. It will be solid with no louvers/slots or vents. .......................lm
