seat cover for this seat

Post by AWILLIAMS64 » Thu Aug 21, 2008 12:41 pm

since i have the bike torn apart now i decided to go ahead and start the seat project as well. As someone stated i have a 65 bike with a later model seat. It does need recovered so could someone please help me with the year of the seat so i can get the correct cover for it. It seems to fit just fine just not the correct one for my year? i have looked at this cover http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CB77-CB7 ... 0273181801

would i just select the later model seat cover. And i see it comes with the strap, which i am missing.
I has a local upolstry shop say they could recover the seat for around $75 including material but i am sure it would not look as nice as a factory made cover. I also see the asian seats that would be the correct seat for the bike but i have read the reviews on them are less than desirable.

Yes, order the later model seat. I have used these covers, and they are nice.

The bike in the auction has the trim. No trim on the one in the pic you show. They all came with trim when issued by HONDA. ?????????????????. .........lm
