HELP 1967 cl77 scrambler can't get clutch cover off???

I believe that you didn't get ALL the lower screws out of the cover right above the foot peg bar also the chain cover at rea of the top of case. When and IF you ever get it off, make sure you clean and grease the splines where the kickstarter slides over the shaft. Not really necessary to remove the arm/lever. As LM said, get a manual. Best investment you'll ever make. JMHO

Thanks mountain man It was stuck on the kickstart arm. I assumed it went back on while holding the lever in a position where it would not rub the engine case when spring tension is released . Where can I obtain a manual for a CL77 ?
I have a parts manual.
