looking for a a couple of things

i have a 65 superhawk and need a key. ignition switch has VA626 stamped on it. also need a place to buy the boots that go from the airbox to each carb., Mine are in pretty bad shape. also will eventually will need kickstarter, the gear is there but nothing else, and a headlight glass.

Key is most likely NA626, not VA. Try Hondakeys.com. Clauss studios has repro air tubes, reasonable price. http://claussstudios.com/ . Ebay, western hills honda, or Ohio cycles for other parts. Here's another good link. http://www.olypen.com/retro/

you are right, the key is a na626, on the switch it looks like the "N" did not get fully stamped, it definitely looks like a slanted V, but on the fork lock it definitely has NA626. Since i am in ohio i may have to check out the ohio cycles place. i put out a request to hondakeys, now i will have to go back and send another request w/ the tight #. I really appreciate you letting me know i had the wrong #. I have never had a chance to do any "restorations" on any vehicle so this is my first one. I think half of the fun is reading all the info. I would say the biggest rush is when i hit the starter button and it actually started! its weird, just as i was posting this Mark from hondakeys.com emailed me saying it was a wrong #!

my first decent picture of my project. The hoses around the bars are the gas lines that i ran just to get it started.

i was able to get a couple of keys for my switch today at the local locksmith. He charged $22 for the first one and then $3.50 for each additional. Thanks lm for the option to get one from you it would have been great if this had not worked out.
would this be the headlight replacement i would need? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda-CB ... 8783338175
the pic is what i currently have, or dont have depends on how you look at it.
