Valve Ajustment ca77 Help No LT or LF mark

Post by nicoderm » Sat Jul 26, 2008 9:23 pm

I was reading my manual for adjusting the valves for my ca77 dream. the manual refers to the "t" ( top dead center) "f" firing and LTand LF. I dont see a Lt or Lf mark. can someone help me with this. Im getting some tapping on the right side. Not sure if its the valves for not.

What manual do you have?My owners manual shows to set mark at "T" then adjust valves that are closed then rotate cam to other vavles. No LT or LF mentioned.Think that refers to the dual point bikes.

Your DREAM has only one set of points so adjust the right side valves at "T" and points at "F" then turn the crank 360 degrees to "T" and adjust the left side valves. ...........lm
