TypeII Points

Ooops!! My factory service manual just showed the points on the RIGHT side. Sorry about that. Forgot I had the thing, but looked when I found it.

CBX, Ahh, you just wanted all that print. Just joking, that is good info on the Type 2's, I had to dig into the memory bank from over 40 years ago too. One coil, one condenser, one set of points, both plugs firing at the same time, one piston on exhaust and the other on compression. Cliff C

TypeII

Not totally positive, but I think that the 12 volt Hondas all used 3 ohm coils so just about any dual outlet 12 volt Honda coil would work. I know the CBXs are all 3 ohms. Probably a trick set up would be an Excell coil form Parts Unlimited would make a great substitution for firepower.

CBX, would type I points be interchangeable with Type II?

Thanks again.
