exhaust clamp?

Post by cappinbob » Fri Jul 11, 2008 9:30 am

on some of the 305 superhawks it looks like there is a clamp where the header pipe and the muffler connect, is there such a clamp and does anyone know where to get them?
thanks

No clamps were used as issued by HONDA.
That area had 3 designs over all years of issue. The last being referred to as the "ONE PIECE" design because the parts were attached with a crimped ring which had to be ground off to separate the parts. ..................lm

yep, i bought a set of mufflers from apex for street use and they don't fit the header pipe tight, but i need to seal them off because they have a gap.
i got a set of clamps from jc whitney to do the job for now.
thanks
