Identification of owner's manual

Post by Tony » Sat Jun 11, 2005 8:47 am

Hi all. Is there any way to identify the years that an owner's manual covers by the cover of the manual? Was there a manual for the early 305 Superhawks and the late model superhawks that are different?

Thanks

I am looking for an owner's manual (or copy) for my 1967 CB77. If you have one in reasonable shape, I wonder if you would consider making me a copy. I don't expect you to do if for free - let me know what the cost would be.

Thanks
Jack

I have an owner's manual. Not sure if its all there or not...I'm just getting into this project. I saw some on eBay, too. That's why I'm inquiring. The guy on eBay with the manuals says there are no dates listed in the manuals so he doesn't know what years it covers. The way I figure it there mist be at least 2 different ones........ones for early models and ones for late models. I need a late one. When I get out to the garage I'll take a look at the manual I have and see how good it is. It's been used a lot. I know for certain the cover is missing. It was my dad's bike. Maybe the rest is there. If it is I wouldn't mind making some copies of it. I'll get back with you on it as soon as I check it out. But in the meantime, if anyone knows about those manuals on eBay and how to identify what years they cover, let us know. It would be nice to have a nice, crisp, new one for the resto once it's done.

I have a Honda 250/300 Super Sport Model CB72 - CB77 Owner's Manual.

It has a date of 9/65 on the back cover and came with my 66 Hawk. If you still need a copy let me know.
