cb72

Post by 305 nutt » Sat Apr 26, 2008 9:12 pm

I bought a cb72 off fleabay a month ago. Just a rolling chassis with matching engine. No title. I've been told they are fairly rare. I would like to find out how much they are bringing. I have my frame blasted, and etch primed, have a lot of good sheet metal for cb77's so I'm picking the cream of the crop for 72. Just bought new standard sleeves and pistons for it so the motor is getting ready for reassembly. Debating on whether to powdercoat the cases, head, jug etc. Anybody have any input on value if this will hurt it or not. I powdercoat my scrambler and dream cases with a real light coat of silver, they look awesome and best of all if the carbs decide to puke a little, the gas doesnt stain the coating or anything. I am looking for a left carb for a cb72 if anyone has one let me know. nutt
