1966 Honda 305 Scrambler

Post by Bullitt65 » Mon Mar 27, 2023 3:08 pm

Hi thanks for letting me join. I have had some 60's harley, Triumphh and BSA bikes, and I have been shopping for a 1966 Honda CL77. I have seen them with a red frame blue frame and black frame. I have had a hard time finding a resto guide or a good fact book about them. I am looking for a nice original example with black frame and silver tank, but it would be good to see original examples or a fact book, so I can easily tell what may be incorrect or could have been changed on one. Many seats have been recovered, but iii would also be good to see dates used, what options were available, and what tires they originally ran.
Thanks for the help

PS,
Correct size tires for CL72 and CL77, all years:
Front: 3.00-19
Rear: 3.50-19
(Tire sizes spec'd in both shop manual and owner's manual).
