HELP me Forum Menbers:
Looking for a bunch of parts for Series 1 CR basketcases a 72 & 77 I recently aquired;
I have the parts for the crankshafts- the halves and flywheels and pins and 2 cam gears but need rod bearings and main bearings
Oil pump= drives off a worm gear on the left side of the crankshaft have one but need 2
Main bearing races and rollers have 3 one is cracked
Main bearings look like off other Hondas from the era
Camshafts intake and exhaust - have a set for 1 bike and dread making them they are 2 piece and press fit into ball bearings and a gear
Clutch linkage for inside cluch cover ( have the push rod to the clutch basket)
Points cover - have one need 2
2 cam covers- have 4 need 6
Will have the pistons made no problem here in Cal by one of my vendors and the valves and springs are easy to custom make.
It will be mostly a bearing search for the parts but would prefer if anyone has done this some ADVICE!

So what happened is I have started to assemble them and are rounding up the obviously missing stuff that I will have to remake if I can't find any of the parts. The good news is I have the parts to make one engine out of 2 but the CR77 is missing everything in the top end and all the bearings are missing or toast.

Big project YES I KNOW but these bikes were likely imported by my dad used from a Mr. Honda ( not Soichiro ) in 1964 and resold out of our shop in Richmond ,California - JK Cycle Inn along with about 8 CR110s and some CR93's that were new. He advertised them in the AFM newsletter for $1495 for a CR72 and $695 for a CR110
It has been a while since I passed my HONDA STEP class quiz to allow me to do warranty work on Honda 1977 models but it is all coming back to me....
Any leads on this will be greatly appreciated!
