it is a repaint.... looks like they did a pretty awesome job actually. I saw it on craigslist way out in the boonies of NH.Got it for 2500. Poor guy got sick and couldn't keep up with it. He really hasn't ridden it since 2009. he messed up the vin# on his reggie by mistaking a 3 for an 8 on the end which I didn't see till I got it home. Relatively painless bureaucratic fix but a little nerve-racking dealing with Massachusetts RMV. they are like the third reich around here. EVERYTHING gets a title. anyway she's mine and she's legal. hi-beam on the sealed beam is gone. throttle cable needs lube. petcock leaking intermittently, fuel cap plugged. tires a little cracked. I just ride these things into town, get a coffee and BS with all the guys that stop by and reminisce! I have a big touring bike that I use for commuting to work and taking trips. Ive had a couple of these 60`s dreams over the years, so interesting and cool looking, and relatively affordable! In a world where everybody wants a million dollars for everything...
not looking forward to cleaning that oil spinner. sounds like a bear. in the last 2 dreams I just dumped the oil a couple of times when I got them and rode them. this oil looks pretty descent. IDK ill break bugging you guys with tons of questions I'm sure of that. merry Xmas, Jim Nation

Have you taken the bike out yet this Spring...? (I'm sure by this time you figured out the oil spinner is no big deal - pop it off the chain, pull the retaining clip and swab it out...)
