CA77 battery cover

Members, is anyone aware of two different sizes of battery cover for the CA77 as mine doesn't fit close to the framework but is about 1/2" away.

There were 2 different size batteries, along with different side covers and frame slots etc.

I really don't see anything wrong with yours from the pic?

The parts lookups will give the serial breakdown of the changeover.

Early had a wider battery and later smaller version. I don't think the early one is manufactured anymore, just some old OEM's turn up occasionally on e bay.

Oh, OK...

The early frame slots look to be much wider, so the early covers may not fit in the late slots?

How about a pic of yours?

Looks like you have a late cover in an early frame, or maybe not....a little hard to see as the paint is mirror glossy!

How about a side view?

Looks like 1010863 is the changeover serial#

The more I look at it, the more it looks like the bottom tab on the cover is bent inward.

It should be pretty much flush with the outside profile of the cover.
