cb350 or cb360 rotor and stator

can a newer Honda 350 or 360 charging system be transplanted onto a 305? If so, this can be a cheap upgrade.

Never heard of it but guess you just have to wait for as many people as possible to read the forum;
could also try posting it on the VJMC ( USA ) forum ... maybe a different set of readers.

I've posted a similar question about points backplates and am waiting, fingers crossed.
